Just a Thought

If I ever write an autobiography, I think I shall include this phrase:

"And so, after living as an American cowboy circa 1880, he grudgingly returned to the twenty-first century."

I'm in the Crystal Palace Revue this summer. It is a theatrical program that features our little town of 5,000 in the days when it served as the end of the Texan Trail. From swankified show girls, to gunfights in the street, to singing about the days of the Wild West, it's always a good time. I've learned so much in the short time that I've been a member of the cast. The songs, lines, and routines are all performed from memory, and we had two weeks of prep rehearsal before the show opens. (It opens tomorrow night!) Tonight was the dress rehearsal, and I had a great time. Look for more posts about this little adventure later on in the summer.
