Today I attended at writing workshop at UNK, and it gave the the courage to finally share some of my own poetry with you guys. I wrote this in my journal on April 25, 2012, I don't know how you will interpret it, I don't know if it's any good, but, here goes...
A Light
There is a light ever-shining
behind your back, yet intertwining
with your heart and soul.
Many do not see at first,
then understand in sudden burst
this light that guides their path.
It fills your life and overflows
into the lives of those
who love you.
