A Day At Home

So, I guess I haven't really posted anything about myself for a long time. Today you get some insight into what I do on my days off.

It was snowy and the wind was blowing so church was called off. I slept in a little, and had pancakes for breakfast!

Then, I read for about three hours, and drank some tea.

For late lunch at 2:00 my mom made chicken rice soup from scratch. I made some homemade bread.

I read for about two more hours, and discovered a 24/7 indie rock radio channel on my NPR music app. It was awesome. I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons came on and I wanted to dance around my room, but I didn't because my book was getting intense. (I hope everyone reading this is at least familiar with the name Mumford and Sons. If not, there're worth checking out.)

Later, my dad came down, and asked me to help scoop snow out of the fence line. That was fun. (The cows are back in our home corral for calving, and we already have 4 baby calves!)

I played The Game of Life with my dad and siblings.

The day ended with watching movies.

I love it when I actually get to be home during the daylight hours. I usually leave and get home when it's dark. Today was spent relaxing and gearing up for the busy week ahead. So, yeah...
