So, I waited until the first day that I had my school-issued iPad to blog again. Summer is over. I think the initial excitement of school starting up is now drawing to a close, and things are back to normal. I could try to give in-depth descriptions on all the VERY exciting things that happened to me over the summer, but then you would all fall asleep. So I won't. I'll give a brief summary of them. They appear in chronological order.
The trip-of-a-lifetime that I took over two weeks in early June with two of my best friends and 67 other high schoolers. Destinations included St. Louis, Gettysburg, Annapolis, DC, NYC, Niagara Falls Toronto Canada, and Chicago. With many, many rest stop and fast food breaks in between. With many memories and souvenirs returned home and virtually kissed the ground.
Three days worth of singing at UNK All-State Choir Camp. Self explanatory.
Our annual family vacation at the Keith County Fair. I had success with my steers. My pigs not so much. Amanda did well though.
I guess that pretty well covers the major events of my summer. More writing and hopefully some poetry will follow.
