FREEDOM!!!
I got braces in the August before eighth grade. The initial diagnosis was that I was going to have them for 22 months, but I got them off today! (That makes 20 months for you mathematically challenged.) Now I can eat carmel, nuts, popcorn, and corn-on-the-cob without being "illegal." Not that I broke many of the rules in the first place. My retainer is pretty cool too, with a five-bar music staff, a time signature, and a couple of notes. I know I'm a music geek. I love it!
In other news, my sister and I each got a 4-H pig on Wednesday. We'll end up with seven total. Three for me, three for her, and one for my little brother. I guess that's a sure sign spring is here. It's hard to believe that we're the last quarter at school.
Also, I think that I'll reread The Hunger Games, and analyze it like we do to books in my English class at school. I usually read just for the story, but after this year I'm going to be digging deeper into the stories and the possible meanings behind each situation. I'll probably be using this blog to write my way through my thoughts.
Finally I just wanted to remind you all that even "Though Friday may be dark, Sunday's coming."

I am excited to read your in-depth analysis of the Hunger Games. I need to read more than just surface level!
